Nier Replicant has already been available for a couple of days, and the immortal work of Yoko Taro, prequel to Nier Automata, is already thrilling many gamers around the world. Although sales seem not to be keeping up with 2B’s adventures, we must admit that seeing the spotlight on a title that in 2012 was decidedly niche is really nice. The question that many are asking themselves in these first days of launch is: how much hard Nier Replicant? Indeed, being an action-jrpg full of side missions and additional content, the question is more than legitimate. According to Square Enix, it should take you roughly 20 hours to complete the title focusing on the narrative alone. This is if you decide to skip the side missions and optional activities, because otherwise you could easily reach 35 or more hours in total.

A duration that easily aligns with that of the original title, but we must remember that the re-release includes some new features and additions that will most likely increase the total hours. In fact, in addition to being able to select the soundtrack, dubbing and costumes of Nier Automata, in Nier Replicant there is also an extra episode called Little Mermaid, with a single boss included. In addition, there are some DLC dungeons from the original that in this case have been included within the game.
In short, there are plenty of ways to extend the duration of Nier Replicant if you want.
