Nissan Italy announced a series of changes at the top became effective as of December 1, 2023. Various promotions and transfers of responsibility, which redefine the corporate structure for our country.

Gabriele Piccini he comes promoted a Marketing Director of Nissan Italy, after significant experience in the Marketing Division of Nissan’s European headquarters. Piccini held the role of flagship product manager Qashqai for the entire AMIEO Region.
In his new role, based at the offices of Nissan Italia in Capena (Rome)will report directly to Marco ToroPresident and CEO of Nissan Italia, and functionally CEO Arnaud CharpentierRegional Vice President Marketing & Mobility.
Piccini’s promotion involves the passage of responsibility and Sandro Sarlowhich takes on the role of Director of Sales. Sarlo boasts experience gained within Nissan Italia, holding positions such as Sales Performance Manager and manager of the department Distribution & Sales Planning. In this new position, Sarlo will continue to report directly to Marco Toro and functionally ad Antonio MelicaNissan Italia manager seconded to Paris as Deputy Sales Vice President Europe.
He will take Sarlo’s place Vincenzo Varrialewhich becomes Director of Network Development and Quality. Varriale continues his professional career in Nissan Italia, consolidating the experience accumulated as Manager of the department Network Development. In this new role, Varriale will report directly to Marco Toro and functionally a Jean-Philippe RouxAMIEO CQ&DND Regional Vice President.
Finally, Varriale will take over Achille Nicastrithat after 31 years in Nissan Italy – of which the last 14 were members of the Management Committee – will leave the company next December 31st to undertake new professional challenges.
These changes, announced by Nissan Italy, reflect a restructuring within the automotive company. A change at the top of the company, worth highlighting.
