Nissan, results are growing in the first nine months of 2023

Il 2023 one is confirmed excellent year for Nissan Italiawith beyond 29,000 units registered. Growth of around 40% year on year, double that of the market (20%), and Nissan’s total market share rising from 1.9% to 2.2%.

The units sold to private customers are over 17,600, which pushes the relative share to 2.6% (+0.3 points vs 2022), the best result in Italy in the last 4 years. Of the total Nissan sales, the weight of the private channel is equal to 60,7% while the market stops at 51.2%. Sales are also growing in the fleet channel, with over 7,600 units and a share of 2,1% (+0.4 points vs 2022).

Electric models

The company’s commercial results are supported by new electrified models (Juke Hybrid, Qashqai e-POWER, X-Trail e-POWER, Ariya 100% electric) and new technologies (e-POWER engine, e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system) launched during 2022.

Nissan’s share of crossovers reaches 89% (+15 points vs 2022) and that of electrified vehicles 71% (+19 points vs 2022), both higher than the market shares of 52% and 44% respectively. Qashqai sales grew by 55% and exceeded 15,000 units, of which 40% with e-POWER engine, while over 1,500 X-Trail e-POWER units were sold.

Excellent results also for the compact crossover Nissan Juke, which with over 7,800 units sold recorded growth of 48%, also due to the launch of the Hybrid version which accounts for approximately 35% of the total.

Nissan initiatives to intensify commercial action in 2023

In September, Nissan intensified its commercial action with a series of initiatives that will continue into October:

  • Launch of Qashqai e-POWER 90th Anniversary, special limited edition version (only 900 units for the Italian market), created on the occasion of Nissan’s 90th anniversary and characterized by door sill plates with illuminated Qashqai writing, panoramic roof with longitudinal bars, 18-inch five-spoke black wheels, exterior colors with contrasting roof and optional package including Head Up Display, ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link and wireless smartphone charger, the special 90th Anniversary version stands out for its style and technological content.
  • Launch of the 90th Anniversary promotional campaign, which offers all those who purchase Juke Hybrid, Qashqai MH or e-POWER and 3 years of insurance theft and fire, three coupons and one year of tire insurance included in the price.
  • Launch of the campaign television communication on the 90th Anniversary promotion.
