No more heavy breaths, gamepad clicks and annoying background noises in the headphones. Xbox today rolled out a new update for its own console Series X|S introducing the noise suppressorliterally “noise suppressor”.

According to Microsoft’s official post, the feature “will help remove unwanted noises such as gamepad clicks, breathing and background noise from your gaming sessions with friends.”

With the update this new functionality will be active by default on consolesma if you like chaos you can turn it off at any time. To disable noise suppression, simply open the help menu, go to “parties and chats” and then “options”. From there the noise suppression can be turned on or off.

Today’s system update also adds the ability for users to start playing shared screenshots and game clips. “Now the friends you share game clips and screenshots with can not only watch your captures, they can start playing on their mobile device or PC with cloud gaming right away,” Microsoft explained. However, please note that some of the cloud games require an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

In addition to these two features, Microsoft also announced that it has fixed several minor issues thanks to the latest update.
