The producer of One Piece Odyssey, Katsuaki Tsuzuki, has unveiled the release date of the demo of the title: let’s find out all the details together
The One Piece franchise is one of the most powerful currently in Japan, from every media point of view. Animated series, manga, video games, films and live action, the world painted by Eiichiro Oda has been transposed in any way, becoming a cult and a must-have for all fans of Japanese media. And this 2023 opens with a bomb for all fans, because next January 12 will arrive on PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox Series X | S One Piece Odysseya title that differs greatly from the classic musou with which the adventures of Luffy pad in hand were generally painted (apart from One Piece World Seeker, which had already taken a few steps in another direction) transporting us towards… turn-based JRPGs .
And just waiting for the title to be released on all platforms, the ILCA development team, more precisely the game producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki, presented the demo (already announced some time ago) with a new trailer which will arrive in the next few days, revealing also the release date. We will be able to try One Piece Odyssey for about two hours starting next January 10, two days before day one. We leave you the trailer below.

The demo will paint the first few hours of the game, with Luffy and crew members arriving on a mysterious island called Waford and meeting Lim and Adio. An introduction to the work of ILCA and Bandai Namco Entertainment, who have deliberately moved out of their comfort zone to look for a new landing place and which will allow us to understand the purpose of this new adventure and try out the basics of the combat system firsthand.
