The Starbreeze studio, after celebrating ten years of Payday, has finally shown other first details on the third game in the series, Payday 3
During a stream to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Payday, new information and details have been given about the third new game in the series, Payday 3, regarding the setting, the story and the characters. At a distance of nearly nine years since release, Payday 2 has continued to be one of the titles most played on Steam, due to its hilarious cooperative mode. The Starbreeze studio continued to support the title with new updates, and at the same time produced new games. Among them, Overkill’s The Walking Dead was a false step which cost the developers a lot, obtaining such a disappointing result as to lead the study to a severe financial crisis, further complicated by the pandemic.
The details on the new adventure of the Payday 3 gang
The company then underwent various reorganizations, redundancies and the sale of some publishing rights. Meanwhile, the world of Payday has passed to the digital age, with software giants, cryptocurrencies, mass surveillance and the Dark Web. All of these elements will play a role for the gang, which will return with all its original characters making use of new gadgets, challenges and opportunities. No gameplay videos have been released, but they have been made available various images of the character models, along with the new game setting.
