Recently, Atlus confirmed that Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable will be released in console version digitally only: no physical version for now
We have already known for some time that Persona 4 Golden (already available on Steam) and Persona 3 Portable will also arrive on all current platforms on January 19, 2023. As confirmed by Atlus itself in June, in fact, both chapters of the beloved series will come to PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | Yes, after Persona 5 Royal led the way on October 21st. All chapters will be available on Game Pass from day one.
However, it was not confirmed whether a retail version for Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable would be available, considering that physical editions of Persona 5 exist in abundance. Well, at the time of publishing this article you can pre-order the two chapters on Xbox (preorders are not yet open on PC, Nintendo Switch and Sony consoles, but the product pages are online), both single and in bundles, as you can also see in the graphic below.
