With an official announcement via Twitter in which the company expresses solidarity with the Ukrainian people, Niantic announced the suspension of Pokémon Go and Pikmin Bloom downloads in Russia and Belarus. The company has announced that the games will soon be unavailable even for those who have already downloaded them.

“We stand by the global community in the hope of peace and a rapid resolution of the violence and suffering in Ukraine. Niantic games are no longer available for download in Russia and Belarus and gameplay will also be suspended shortly ”.

Last week Niantic employees raised $ 74,000 to which the company added another 200,000 that went directly to humanitarian organizations committed to supporting the Ukrainian population.
