What’s new in Pokémon Legends Arceus
A new trailer was therefore published on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel several hours ago, and while it does not consist of too significant a duration, or of the news that we were not yet aware of, it is still quite useful for briefly summarize all the new features which will be found in Pokémon Legends Arceus. This is because it will be a title that can stand out from the previous ones, especially as regards the gameplay and structure of the game world. In the trailer you can see the possibility of riding Pokémon, and the new way in which you will go to catch them. It also offers a look at the environments that players can explore during what is described as “A new kind of adventure”.
The story of Arceus will take place in the region of Hisui, which is an older Sinnoh, where the concept of the Pokémon trainer and the famous League did not yet exist. Pokémon Legends Arceus goes to abandon some of the elements that had now become a fundamental part of the gameplay of the Pokémon games, starting with the more direct approach that you will have between players and wild Pokémon, able to attack each other. Also, throughout the story we will also go to fight and conquer larger beings, comparable to real bosses, defined as “Pokémon Gifts”. Charged with the task of filling the region’s Pokédex, we’re going to explore in this chapter biomes of all kinds, among forests, mountains, islands and ancient ruins, and in the meantime we can also go to craft useful objects for our mission, such as powerful Pokéballs.
