The new Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 is a special series that brings a sportier touch to this electric sedan produced by the Volvo subsidiary. To make this model more “sprint”, Polestar has modified some aspects of its mechanics and improved its design.
Inevitably, the manufacturer first put his hand to the engine of the “conventional” Polestar 2. The two electric motors have been reworked to develop a total power of 476 hp (350 kW) for 680 Nm of torque, compared to 408 hp (300 kW) for 660 Nm of torque for the base model. Polestar also explains that it has increased the responsiveness of the car, which therefore adopts a sportier behavior.

To differentiate this Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 from the more “civilized” Polestar 2, the subsidiary of the Chinese group Geely painted the bumpers and side skirts in the same color as the bodywork. A matte black stripe is available as an option, while the mirror caps feature a glossy black finish. The car can be painted con i colori Thunder o Snow and the interior adopts the Charcoal WeaveTech shade. Finally, some details are available in the coloring Swedish Goldsuch as brake calipers, valve caps, and seat belts.
Polestar was not satisfied with pushing the electric engine to the limit and changing the aesthetic appearance of the Polestar 2. The car is lowered by 2.5 centimeters thanks to Öhlins adjustable shock absorbers. It also receives a front support bar, stiffer suspension and Pirelli P Zero tires specially developed for it. The tires are mounted on matte black 21-inch alloy wheels.
As the name of the special series suggests, only 270 copies of this supercharged Polestar 2 will be produced. The price remains unknown at the moment.
