It’s been several years since its announcement, but we’re finally here: Double Fine Productions’ highly anticipated Psychonauts 2 has officially entered the Gold phase
On the development of Psychonauts 2, news gradually came in a very similar way to what is happening to Bayonetta 3. “It is progressing well”, “it is almost concluded”, all phrases of circumstance that however did not materialize with a release date official. During E3 2021, however, our hopes rekindled, when Double Fine Productions finally formalized that damned date for next 25 August. Amazing to remember that the game was officially announced during the 2015 The Game Awards ceremony, from which, even if it does not appear, almost six years have already passed. Psychonauts 2 Coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4 and PC and will be available at launch on Xbox Game Pass.
In short, August 25 is fast approaching, and Double Fine Productions recently announced, via the official Twitter profile, that the game has officially entered the Gold phase. This means that the main development of Psychonauts 2 is complete, the title is ready to be released and all updates and adjustments that will take place from now on will be made available as a day one (or later) patch. We also remind you that you can pre-order and pre-install Psychonauts 2 on all platforms for which it is available.

Psychonauts 2 is in the Gold phase: ready to become Raz again?
