Land Rover has officially unveiled the new Range Rover Sport 2023 SUV which presents itself, compared to its predecessor, with a complete update in all respects.

Starting with the design, Range Rover Sport 2023 still uses Land Rover’s familiar chassis, but has a more modern, clean and defined style. Some elements of the Range Rover launched last year have been reused along with a couple of touches from the Evoque, like the slim headlights or the well hidden door handles.

The biggest difference between Range Rover Sport 2023 and the two models mentioned above is the size, and partly the rear area. The new model places both the lights and the Range Rover emblem in the same horizontal stripe that runs parallel to the edges of the windows.

Range Rover Sport is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km / h in just 5.4 seconds. The autonomy in EV mode which can reach up to 113 km. In normal daily driving, the estimated range drops to 88 km. There are 740 km of combined autonomy between that of the petrol and electric engine.

A version is also available P440e PHEV, which produces a total of 440 hp, with the same range and CO2 emissions data. Also this model is characterized by an acceleration of only 5.8 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km / h.

To ensure that the SUV is capable of versatile operation on as many off-road surfaces, without compromising the occupant experience inside, Land Rover has equipped it with a 2-chamber air fork, rear axle steering technology, active electronic differential and above all the off-road system Cruise Control. This allows the driver, on uneven surfaces, to set the desired speed and comfort level from four available settings. It is the first Land Rover to feature this device, enhancing the range’s off-road performance.

Finally, the Terrain Response 2 which automatically detects the surface and the terrain to adapt the car to best face the situation. The data is offered to the driver via the Pivi Pro touchscreen. It works in conjunction with dynamic control systems.
