The new ST (Sport Touring) version, which will be available from 2022, according to Kymco, should offer even more comfort. It retains the well-known 550 cc twin with 51 hp, but new are the traction control and cruise control, made possible by the introduction of ride-by-wire. Additionally, the digital display receives an upgrade, which brings more brightness and sharper graphics. The standard equipment also includes heated grips and the windshield now electrically adjustable on the ST version. The Kymco AK 550 ST is expected to hit the market in the first half of 2022, the price has yet to be fixed.

Kymco Dink X 125 2022: The youngest member of the Dink family is the X 125. With an output of 11.5hp, Kymco positions it as a compact GT scooter that should make a good impression in big cities around the world. Thanks to the 13-inch wheels, it is suitable for skidding traffic, and with the ABS system safety is guaranteed. The storage compartment under the seat offers space for two helmets, including a full face helmet. A second storage compartment is located in the front tunnel. There is also a USB socket and digital displays. The latter is prepared for the Kymco Noodoe navigation and entertainment system.

Kymco Xciting 400 S 2022: The Xciting 400 S from model year 2022 gets a new look at the front, while the displays are updated. The engine remains Kymco’s most powerful single cylinder with nearly 34 hp. Other innovations concern an integration of traction control and the Kymco Noodoe navigation system.

Kymco Agility Plus S 50/125/200: The Taiwanese manufacturer’s “best-selling” scooter for 2022 has a new model: Agility Plus S. Since the winning team does not change, it incorporates all the positive characteristics of the well-known model, but changes the look, dominated by the new signature bright LED in the front. The leg shield has also received a new shape and should now offer better wind and weather protection. The LCD display also changes and the stowage space under the seat has been optimized. With two removable partitions, it looks neater and there are charging options thanks to several USB sockets. The engine is an air-cooled single cylinder, the performance of which increases by almost 2 HP compared to the current Agility Plus.

Chassis, suspension and braking system remain unchanged, with the rims receiving a new and sportier design. The Agility Plus S series consists of 3 models: 50, 125 and 200, which will appear in the spring of 2022. Prices are yet to be defined.

For the next season, Kymco also presented several electric scooters. Let’s start with the Agility Carry EV workhorse. It is based on the petrol version, and therefore retains the flat step and the large roof rack. Under the saddle is the iOnex battery, which drives the 2 kW electric motor and guarantees a range of up to 50 km (according to the WMTC cycle) and can also be replaced in seconds.

i-One e i-One X (L1e homologation) are the compact entry-level models and offer space for a helmet in addition to the battery under the saddle. The i-One X has a 2 kW engine and a range of 60 km, while the i-One has a 3.6 kW engine and a range of 52 km.

The models Super 6 and Super 7 they are larger and with L3e approval. The former has a 6.4 kW electric motor, while the Super 7 has a 7.2 kW motor. According to Kymco, the autonomy for both exceeds 100 km thanks to the double removable battery, while there is also space under the saddle to insert a helmet.

Finally, the Super 9, an “extroverted” electric scooter with a 10 kW engine powered by lithium-ion batteries integrated into the frame, which offers a range of 140 km in the NEDC cycle. The Super 9 weighs 110kg and has a top speed of over 100km / h.
