Sledgehammer Games gets a makeover and many rumors claim that this is due to the imminent presentation of the new Call of Duty
Sledgehammer Games has been part of the well-known group of studios in charge of developing the FPS series par excellence for some time now, that is Call of Duty. Although the developer stepped aside a bit in 2020 to leave the top spot on the gaming stage a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War by Treyarch and Raven Software, there was then a sudden return in style with the new title that is rumored to be presented shortly. Sledgehammer Games: new look in view of the new chapter of Call of Duty? Various rumors seem to confirm this hypothesis
Basically, it’s just a new one logo (you can see it above, in this same article), but it sure looks very different from the previous one, that’s for sure. The studio shared a terse gif on Twitter to showcase the new brand in question, as well as a variant of it that features shorthand “SHGInstead of the full name.

The game Call of Duty this year, by Sledgehammer Games itself, presumably will be titled Call of Duty: Vanguard and will reportedly be revealed next month, likely via Warzone as it was for Black Ops Cold War last year. So far it is rumored that the game will be set in the 40s in the midst of the Second World War. This same setting should then also be introduced in Warzone in some way (probably with themed maps). The game we’re talking about should arrive by the end of this year. In addition to Warzone, many rumors suggest the fact that the title could also be shown at Gamescom which will start on August 25 and will see the participation of Activision. For now, all that remains is to wait confidently and see what the prolific future of the Call of Duty series holds.
