Sony today announced the imminent arrival on the market of two Noew α7C-series cameras, featuring a compact and lightweight body and a full-frame image sensor with interchangeable lens. It’s about Sony Alpha 7C II e Sony Alpha 7C Rtwo models designed for creators who want to combine image quality and freedom of movement.
The main features of Sony Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7C R
Both cameras are equipped with the same unit AI-based processing and gods BIONZ XR processors of the latest Sony cameras. The lens is interchangeable (like Alpha 7R V and Alpha 6700). These technologies allow you to get a autofocus with real-time recognition which recognizes a wide variety of subjects with high accuracy. Added to that is one built-in 5-axis image stabilizer which offers the advantage of 7 stops for photos.

Sony Alpha 7C R
Alpha 7C R integrates a full-frame image sensor with 61.0 effective megapixelsthe same sensor as the Alpha 7R V, in a compact and lightweight body (similar size and weight to the Alpha 7C II).
This camera allows you to capture high-quality images in a wide variety of contexts – portrait, nature, landscape photography – thanks to its high resolution and rich color gradation. In addition to everyday life snapshots, it offers the ability to capture incredible detail with ease.

- Full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with 61.0 effective megapixels and new BIONZ XR processor for outstanding high-resolution, high-definition performance.
- Compared to the Alpha 7R V, the Alpha 7C R is approximately 29% lighter and approximately 53% less bulky.
- The standard ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 32000 for both photos and videos (extended ISO range from 50 to 102400 for photos).
- Built-in 5-axis optical stabilizer with 7.0-stop gain; even very slight blur at the 1 pixel level are detected and corrected.
- Multi-Shot with Pixel Shift to capture multiple images and recompose them on PC, creating a single image of extraordinary resolution.
- By adding the supplied GP-X2 grip extension to the Alpha 7C R, you can comfortably shoot stable video, even over long periods and at telephoto.
The new cameras will be available in late September 2023 from authorized Sony dealers.
