From what can be seen from the trailer released, the gameplay adopted by the game is that of a classic side scrolling fighting game and the playable characters are three: Lebron James, Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny. The graphics are instead made using the 2.5D technique and the pixel art.

Also on the occasion of the arrival at the cinema of the new film of the Space Jam franchise, in addition to the video game, Microsoft will also release special controllers for the Xbox, characterized by a design dedicated to the film. In particular, three different controller designs will be released: one dedicated to the Toon Squad, the good team, another dedicated to villains Goon Squad and, finally, a more generic third.
