In the past few hours, the news of the classification of Stray, the cyberpunk adventure title starring a cat, in Korea has begun to circulate on the net: is it an anticipation for new details to come?
Developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive, Stray is a cyberpunk adventure starring a beautiful cat that showed up in June 2020, with a release date set for last year. Leaving aside the peculiarity of the hairy protagonist, what had struck about Stray was precisely the setting, very evocative and interesting. After a postponement, caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, in early 2022, little or nothing had been heard of the little stray until it was officially classified in Korea.
What’s new and official then? Absolutely nothing. Similar to what happened with Ghostwire Tokyo and Monster Hunter Rise on PC, however, fans and even us in the press immediately pricked up their ears. This is because, following the ratings proposed by the Korean GRAC for the two titles mentioned here, the release date was also revealed shortly after. Will the same happen for Stray? Who knows, let’s see.
STRAY was also rated in Korea https://t.co/se8jxIa4ce
Hopefully that means release date news is coming soon. https://t.co/oGUNybv8Od pic.twitter.com/GGz2JA66lf

Stray classified by GRAC in Korea: new details on the way?
Stray’s narrative focuses on a lone cat who has found himself separated from his family. Lost in a cybernetic city, he moves from one environment to another in search of a way out, having to solve various kinds of puzzles along the way. During the adventure we will also meet dangerous “creatures”, along with droids of various kinds. And we will not be alone: even if, in fact, the main approach will obviously be stealth, we will have on our side a small drone called B12 to assist us.
Stray, ranked by GRAC in Korea, is currently in development on PS4, PS5 and PC. Annapurna Interactive confirmed last month that the expected release date still falls in 2022, so we expect official news in the coming weeks.
