Disney Plus has presented the official trailer for the second season of The Bad Batch, which will be released on January 4, 2023
There is very little left now at the release of the second season of The Bad Batch, an animated series belonging to the Star Wars universe. Initially scheduled for September, this second chapter has been postponed and now Disney Plus has announced that it will be released on January 4, 2023, also unveiling the official trailer, within which we find a larger Omega and other well-known faces such as the fearsome Emperor Palpatine and padawan Gungi. In this second season of The Bad Batch we find the protagonists in the middle of their journey after the collapse of the Republic and, months after the events of Kamino, they will have to face new threats and explore new and unexpected places.
The Bad Batch season 2 and upcoming Star Wars series
Appointment, therefore, on January 4, 2023 with The Bad Batch 2. After Andor, it will be the first series taken from the Star Wars franchise that will make its appearance on Disney Plus. Following, from March 1, 2023, the highly anticipated third season will arrive of The Mandalorian, where we will find Pedro Pascal and the beloved Baby Yoda after the events of The Book of Boba Fett. Also on the calendar for spring 2023 is the second season of Star Wars: Visions, the anthological collection of animated shorts created by various Japanese studios, which presents stories from the Star Wars universe in an anime version.
The debut of Skeleton Crew is also expected in 2023, a series set after Return of the Jedi with Jude Law in the role of the protagonist. Same timeline also for Ahsoka, a new series starting in 2023, focused on Ahsoka Tano, former padawan student of Anakin Skywalker and heroine during the Clone War. The series will see the return of Hayden Christensen in the famous role of Anakin. These, therefore, are the novelties of 2023, a very rich year for Star Wars fans.
