Warner Bros. confirmed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas that The Batman sequel will take place
It seemed like a foregone conclusion, but confirmation can only please: the sequel to The Batman will be made! To say it is the same Warner Bros. which showed up, like the other Hollywood majors, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas to present future projects. Among these could not miss a mention of the second chapter of the new franchise dedicated to the dark knight.
The Batman sequel is confirmed!
The Batman (of which you can find our review here) is officially one of the biggest box office hits since the start of the pandemic. With his over 750 million dollars in proceeds is part of the very narrow circle of films that have reached this threshold. To keep company with Reeves’ film we find Spider-Man: No Way Home, No Time To Die e Fast & Furious 9. It would have been a shame not to review on the big screen Robert Pattinson in the role of the man-bat, as well as Zoe Kravitz in those of Catwoman. Matt Reeves himself will return as the film’s director and screenwriter. The Batman was made as a standalone film, but both the plot and certain cut scenes and the production of spin-off series on secondary characters hinted that the saga would not stop.
We don’t know much more than what was reported yesterday at CinemaCon. Presumably the release date of the film is at least two years. To pass the wait there will be more DC products coming to theaters to see. One for all The Flashwhose debut is scheduled for June 2023. At CinemaCon there were preview minutes, which saw the presence of Micheal Keaton as the dark knight.
