Catania Book Festival returns to the Sicilian city from 5 to 7 May 2023 for its fourth edition. 150 events are expected in the programme, the finalists of the Strega prize and a notable list of personalities linked not only to publishing, but to general Italian culture; personalities linked to the Sicilian territory are also expected at the event
Il Catania Book Festival become from 5 to 7 May 2023 with 150 events related to the world of books and literature. This year the event will also host the tour of the witch prize, and will see the visit of the twelve finalists of the most famous literary prize in Italy. During the three days there will be meetings with authors and publishers, book workshops, presentations and insights, but the program will be vast and varied.
The guests of the Catania Book Festival
In addition to the twelve finalists of the Strega award, the fourth edition of the Catania event will host guests linked not only to the publishing world but to that cultural in general, such as Rocco Tanica and Marco Ligabue, the restaurateur Joe Bastianich, the radio presenter Daniela Collu, Norma Cerletti, Massimo Bisotti and Beatrice Cristalli. Among the Sicilians it is expected Barbara Bellomo, author with several novels and publications dedicated to Roman history to her credit; also expected Gaetano Pecoraro, journalist of Palermo origins.
