We have officially entered the new year, the time has come to give an account of what awaits us from the world of superheroes: here are all the cinecomics of 2024, including films in the cinema and series that we will see in streaming between Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video!
Last year the world of cinema had to face not one, but many two strikes: the screenwriters’ strike first and the actors’ strike after. With both strikes over, it’s time to take stock of what we’ll see this year. Although many works have been slowed down, in 2024 we will still be able to see something interesting and, incredibly, there are more than we expected.
Echo | The Cinecomics of 2024: here’s what we’ll see in the new year!
The first work based on comics that we will see this year is Echo. This will be the series that will start a new corner of Marvelwhich will take the name of Marvel Spotlight, that is, a set of stories that do not have many connections in the MCU and which are therefore not mandatory to watch, but which nevertheless enrich the Marvel world. Maya Lopez must confront her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace the meaning of family and community. Madame Web | The Cinecomics of 2024: here’s what we’ll see in the new year!
Sony’s Spider-Verse continues to expand with new characters, and for the first time we’re getting a movie about Madame Web. The importance of this character for the Spider-Man universe is high, Cassandra Webb is indeed at the center of everything, the one thanks to whom the Spider-Verse exists and around whom everything revolves. The curiosity to see the film and how they treated the character is therefore there. This is a very interesting project. Agatha: Coven Of Chaos will resume the ending of WandaVision and will continue the story of the villain, Agatha Harkness, who gained popularity as an antagonist in the TV series about Wanda and Vision, especially for having created all that aura of mystery that characterized the TV series. Not much is known yet about the plot or the release date of the series, although it should approximately be released in the month of Octoberas a Halloween special.

Disney plans to explore the world of Black Panther even further with a new animated series set in Wakanda called Eyes Of Wakanda. Details about the plot and release date are still unknown, although we know that what they want to do with this animated series is tell the story of Wakanda, about his power and riches thanks to vibranium. We don’t know who the protagonist will be, given the sad passing of Chadwick Boseman who played T’Challa. However, we know that the animated series should be released around fine 2024.
Creature Commandos | The Cinecomics of 2024, here’s what we’ll see in the new year!
We conclude this list with the animated series Creature Commandos di James Gunn! This 2024, due to the strikes, the works on superheroes that we will see this year are fewer than usual. But is it necessarily a bad thing? There are still quite a few films and TV series this year, but perhaps it’s not a bad thing that there are fewer. We’ve seen what happened with the overwork for VFX artists, CGI wasn’t always the best, mostly due to too much work in too little time. Maybe a slowdown won’t hurt so much, both for us fans, but above all for the workers who did not have the opportunity to rest and this greatly ruined the quality of the products. However, the fact remains that in 2024 we will see very interesting things from the world of superheroes.
