The Consultant: What to know about the new Prime Video series
Based on Bentley Little’s 2015 novel of the same name; in the series The Consultant, Christoph Waltz will play the role of Regus Patoff; an innovative consultant (hired by the CompWare company) in charge of reviving the fortunes of the company now close to the definitive crisis.
The young employees will thus find themselves drawn into an intense network of vicissitudes and situations bordering on existentialism. Damn unpredictable challenges and power games; they will uncover the deep and disturbing (unhealthy) relationship between the boss and his employees. Dragged and pushed to go beyond one’s limit; they will find themselves involved in a deep professional… and personal crisis!
Created and produced by showrunner Tony Basgallop, directed by Matt Shakman; joined by executive producers Christoph Waltz, Steve Stark and Andrew Mittman, along with producer Kai Dolbashian.
The series is produced by MGM Television and Amazon Studios. In addition to the aforementioned Christoph Waltz; will be featured in the cast as well Nat Wolff (known actor and brilliant musician), the actress Brittany O’Grady (met several times in the series The White Lotus) and the young Aimee Carrero (recently featured in the movie The Menu).
