Daniel Radcliffe is not interested in returning as Harry Potter in an eventual adaptation of The Curse of the Heir
It’s been just over two months since reunion of the cast of Harry Potter, held on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of La Pietra Filosofale. Although the world created by Rowling is still in vogue thanks to the Fantastic Beasts franchise, which is about to welcome the third chapter in theaters, it was precisely the January reunion that enlightened the eyes of the fans. Seeing the cast back together ten years after the last time was a great thrill for everyone and the desire to see them together starring in a new feature film seems to have enticed many. One of these is precisely Chris Columbus, director of the first two installments of the series, who revealed to Variety that it would be a dream for him to bring the trio back to the big screen. However, the response from one of the parties concerned was not too late, that Daniel Radcliffe who for 10 years wore the role of Harry Potter. In an interview for the New York Timesthe English actor said:
It’s not something I’m interested in doing right now. This is not the answer everyone would like, but I think I was able to go back and enjoy it because it is no longer a part of my daily life. I’m getting to a point where I feel like I came out of Harry Potter intact egam really happy with where I am now and going back would be a huge change in my life. I’m not saying I’ll never do it, but the Star Wars actors had about 30, 40 years before returning. It’s only been 10 for me. Right now I’m not interested in doing that.
Few doubts remain with fans on the matter. If the adaptation of The Curse of the Heir is there, will not see the participation of Daniel Radcliffe, at least not in the short term. However, you can continue to admire his theatrical adaptation, which is very successful abroad, and the paper version, released a few years ago. In a few weeks, however, we will be able to see the English actor protagonist, together with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum of The Lost City.
