The Day Before, one of the most present games in the Steam wishlists, would still be in development. The release of the game, originally scheduled for June 21, 2022, has now been postponed to March 1, 2023. This was announced by the developers of Fntastic, who explained the delay by explaining that the game will be in Unreal Engine 5. Below is the statement official:
“Feeling and understanding the great responsibility we face, with enormous gratitude in our hearts, we are delighted to announce that The Day Before is transitioning to the new Unreal Engine 5 technology! Moving to a more advanced open world engine will make the gameplay even more exciting. In this regard, we inform you that the new release date of the game will be March 1, 2023. “
The Day Before will be a post-apocalyptic MMO
Announced last year, The Day Before is set in the aftermath of a global pandemic. In this scenario, there are infected, zombie-like creatures devastating what little remains of the human race. Players will have to explore the cities in search of items and materials that can help them survive. Along it will be possible to meet other humans (often anything but friendly) but also hordes of Infected. The game will implement both PvP and PvE elements.
