Midgar’s cloud wolf is about to unleash an “epic” avalanche on PC: at the Game Awards the announcement of the port of Final Fantasy VII Remake
It is ironic to say the least that the former face of the posters “never underestimate the power of PlayStation” makes more news when he reaches other shores, but the event has been repeated to the last Game Awards when immediately after seeing the logo of Epic Games Store the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII Remake. See Cloud Strife in action in its high definition incarnation on PC uncompromising graphics was a joy to behold. And it is not only this that the general public of the famous “master race” can rejoice. The title intends to arrive on PC with all the trappings.

While the game remains “a PS5 exclusive” on the console front, the Game Awards trailer showed a logo that leaves no room for doubt: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. The arrival on PC will also include the DLC dedicated to Yuffie Kisaragi. We will then be able to take on the role of Wutai’s energetic ninja girl who will bring a bit of healthy optimism into the oppressive air of the big city. We remind you that the remake will be distributed by Square-Enix in stages. The first part of the original game (all set in the Midgar megalopolis) makes up the entire backbone of what was seen in the first episode.
We do not know what timing will concern the future chapters of Square-Enix’s long-term project (outside, officially, an advance “of at least six months” for Sony consoles). As for this first part, however, the wait on PC will be as short as possible. The trailer ends with a date set for December 16, or next week. PC gamers will then have the opportunity to play the winner of the best RPG award at the 2020 Game Awards complete with DLC on the same day, discovering the pleasure of being shocked by a simple “I won … I don’t believe it.”
