Based on the popular Sony PlayStation video game, The Last of Us series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey is shown in its first trailer
The Last of Us is about to become a TV series produced by HBO, available in Italy exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW. The executive producer will be the same Neil Druckman, author and creative director of the same video game. After announcing the participation of actress Bella Ramsey in the role of Ellie, the role of Joel was also announced, which will be played by Pedro Pascal.
Sky then reveals the trailer for the highly anticipated The Last of Us TV series, which will be exclusive to Sky and streaming only on NOW from January 16, 2023 absolutely simultaneously with the airing in the United States.
The trailer for The Last of Us: the tv series
Based on the critically acclaimed video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog exclusively for PlayStation platforms, The Last Of Us will be available in all territories in which Sky is present, including the United Kingdom and Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The story of the series unfolds twenty years after the destruction of modern civilization. Joel, a cunning survivor, is tasked with getting Ellie, a 14-year-old girl who seems to have resisted the virus that has infected humanity, out of a closely guarded quarantine zone. A seemingly easy task that soon turns into a brutal and harrowing journey, as the two will have to cross the United States together and depend on each other for survival.
The videogame, released in its first and second part, was one of the most successful products of recent years and also one of the most popular, with a really well-told story and scenes, dialogues and emotions that are difficult to forget for the videogame audience. Enough to lend itself to a television adaptation, whose expectations are very high, especially with the release of this trailer.
