The Lord of the Rings: Gollum postponed for “a few months”

Daedalic Entertainment e NACON have an announcement for Lord of the Rings fans: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was postponed a few months. The studios explain that it takes more time to refine the details and give us the best possible experience.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum postponed, we will have to wait a few months

Fans have long been waiting for the arrival of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum su PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S e Nintendo Switch. The game will put us in the shoes of perhaps the most enigmatic Lord of the Rings character, with his split personality.

Daedalic Entertainment and NACON say they “want to thank all players for their patience and support so far”. And they explain that “Over the past few years the team has worked hard to share our vision of one important story, set in a breathtaking world and full of magic and amazement“. They are working to “meet community expectations and unveil Gollum’s untold story in a way that you honor the vision of JRR Tolkien ”.

And for this very reason they explain that “to provide the best possible experience, we have decided to postpone the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum for a few months. We will keep you updated on the exact times in the near future ”.

As we explained in the article linked above, the game should have been released for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S consoles on 1 September 2022, with a Nintendo Switch version later this year. Instead it will not be like this: the hope is that by 2022 the game will be ready.

A little patience (“waiting for the Tesssssoro, yes!”)

The news can only sadden the fans of the saga and all those who wanted to try to go in search of the Tessssoro. But rather than having a version full of bugs and errors or having the developers take impossible turns, it is better to wait a few months. THEThe new Amazon series on the Second Age of Middle-earth will arrive on September 2, so we fans can still get our dose of Tolkien.

We will keep you updated (hopefully very soon) on the developments of this game.
