The new LEGO Art World Map can be built in several ways, to express the personality, travel memories, or desires of different manufacturers. The pins customizable built with bricks they can in fact be positioned to mark destinations already visited or highlight those still on your wish list, to give this masterpiece a personal touch before being proudly displayed. The construction instructions of the set reveal that the 40 interconnected base plates are divided into three sections for construction and can be arranged in three different ways, allowing you to place the part of the world you prefer in the center of the map.

The oceans, on this picture of 65 cm high and 104 cm wide, can also be adapted to express the true style of each builder: the plates can be arranged inspired by the bathymetric mapping of the ocean floor, or builders can express themselves more freely and creatively by arranging the platelets however they want, exploring different patterns and motifs.

A relaxing adventure

The new LEGO Art set offers adults and their families a stimulating and engaging building experience, to help them relax and recharge as they remember vacation they had, or start planning future excursions. An accompanying soundtrack with stories of expert travelers has been curated to allow builders to immerse themselves in their passion for exploration. The soundtrack contains tales of travelers, bloggers and adventurers, including Torbjørn C. Pedersen, the first person to visit any country in the world on an uninterrupted journey without flying, and the blogger Syazwani Baumgartner who has visited some of the most remote places on the planet.

The new set comes Comes with an elegant instruction booklet and made to be placed on a living room table, a white brick frame and two hooks to make the map easy to display, disassemble and rebuild whenever you want. Fiorella Groves, Creative Lead of the LEGO Art line, commented:

We know our adult fans love to travel, but many haven’t been able to do it for over a year. We thought there was no better way to help them explore the world than to allow them to build, rebuild, plan and remember through construction, while relaxing in the comfort of their home. We hope that the LEGO Art World Map set will inspire new adventures in some, and help others relive and celebrate wonderful travel memories of the past.

The LEGO Art World Map set (31203) will be available in the LEGO Stores and on the official website from June 1, 2021 at the price of €249,99, and in Feltrinelli stores from 1 August 2021.
