Samsung is working on the new generation of Galaxy Tab S8 tablets. The new family will consist of tre varianti (Tab S8, Tab S8+ e Tab S8 Ultra). The debut of the new tablets should be set for the first months of 2022. In these hours, thanks to the insider Ice Universe, new important rumors arrive regarding the technical characteristics of the new top-of-the-range tablets from the Korean house.

The new high-end tablet range from Samsung will be able to count on the still unpublished SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 898. IQualcomm’s future top-of-the-range chipset will therefore be the benchmark of the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 family that promises top-of-the-market performance. There are no variants with the new Exynos 2200.

The new SoC will be ready by the end of 2021 (Samsung itself will produce the Snapdragon 898). As a result, the new Galaxy Tab S8 will arrive no earlier than first quarter of 2022. Over the next few weeks, new confirmations on tablet specifications should arrive.

The first details on the data sheet

According to initial information, the new Galaxy Tab S8 will have an 8,000 mAh battery while the Tab S8 + will reach 10,090 mAh. For the Ultra version there is a 11,500 mAh battery. It should be noted that, at the moment, there are no confirmations on the size of the display of the three variants which, in any case, will present support for fast charging at 45 W. On the software side, considering the release in 2022, there will be Android 12 which will be customized by One UI 4.0.
