Tolkien – Official Trailer and Plot
The film tells of the path that led the young Tolkien to create his universe, as can also be seen from the official synopsis of the film:
Tolkien explores the formative years of the orphaned author as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration in a group of marginalized schoolmates. This was until the outbreak of the First World War, which threatened to tear the “association” to pieces. Experiences that will inspire Tokien to write his famous Middle-earth novels.
