The new season of Call of Duty has brought a lot of news in Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale mode that has recently passed the barrier of one hundred million players. Between in-game events and map changes, the new season has arrived totally upsetting the cards on the table. Warzone, however, will also be the protagonist of one all next gen optimization for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The version optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series X from Warzone is coming! This was announced during a recent briefing by the creative director of Amos Hodge: Charles Intel. The latter confirmed that a specialized team is working on an optimized version of the game, a version that will make the most of the hardware of the two new and young consoles. We therefore expect a version that runs in 120fps, a resolution improved graphics and, in addition, the SSD support of the two consoles with ultra fast uploads.
This is important and highly anticipated news. Players who are lucky enough to launch into the now new Verdansk from PS5 and Xbox Series X were waiting for this version which, officially, will arrive. We do not yet know what the date will be when this version will be released, much less the period. Indicatively, however, we will know more during the summer and, why not, during the next E3 2021 which will in all likelihood be a very hot event … and not only for the temperature estive!
