Walkers from all over the world, if you want to support from today Save the Dogsknow that you can do it thanks to Weward. As? Simply walking, alone, with friends or with your four-legged pets!
What is the partnership between Weward and Save the Dogs?
Thanks to the collaboration with WeWard, registered users can decide to donate the points accumulated thanks to long walks directly to the project “Amici di strada, Compagni di vita”, dedicated to the dogs of the homeless in Milan.
Donating is pretty simple: all you have to do is download the app from Google Play o Apple Store and register to create your own user profile. In this way, the smartphone transforms into a daily pedometer.
Basically the more you walk, the more points you accumulate which are called “wards.” At the end of the day, users validate their steps in points and by accessing the section Gifts and Donations can click on Save the Dogs, thus donating the accumulated wards.
The goal to reach
The goal is to provide 200 kits to animals who live on the street in Milan. Each kit contains: a coat, muzzle, leash, pesticides, bowl and food.

The project “Amici di strada, Compagni di vita”, born in 2021, has already helped further 70 dogs of the homeless in Milan. The project aims not only to give animals a “paw”, but also a hand to their owners, since their four-legged friend is often the only stable bond in their life.
