It is among the first models of electric cars, the Renault Zoe. Thus, with 380,000 registrations to date in Europe, he still extends his “career”, and reaches Model Year 2022. No news for the engine, always with the 52 kWh battery for about 400 km of autonomy, and 110 and 135 HP electric motors.

New setups

For the occasion, the French manufacturer reviews the range, and chooses three trim levels that also indicate the different levels of equipment. We start with Equilibre, which offers the inevitable 22 kW alternating current on-board charger, which has always been Zoe’s trump card, and the Active Emergency Brake System. Already in the basic level we have the hands free key card, the manual climate and the 7 “central display with Apple CarPlay e Android Auto. On the outside, the name Zoe now has a golden E, and the E-Tech Electric badge is added, a new official nomenclature for the compact 100% electric car, as for all electrified Renault cars. Price starting from 33.400 euro.

As we move up the level, we move on to Evolution, which improves on ADAS, adding the system of recognition of road signs, lane departure warning and lane maintenance assistance. Parking sensors and automatic climate control also come into play. The display remains identical in size, but also gets the satellite navigator with external fin antenna. The equipment is completed by 16 ″ Eridis diamond alloy wheels. The price is starting from 35,000 euros turnkey.

The new name for the top of the range is Iconic, which also stands out aesthetically with the 17 ″ wheels with golden details. Same color that is also found in the edges of the seats, made of TEP and recycled fabric. The multimedia system rises to a diagonal of 9.3 ″, again with integrated navigation and smartphone replica.
