Sony wants to redefine the category of zoom objectives with the introduction of the model super wide angle FE 20-70mm F4 G. A lightweight body and a focal range of 20-70mm, with an F4 aperture and autofocus that promises class-leading performance.

Compact and lightweight, even with a focal range that covers 20 to 70 millimeters, Sony’s new lens become a one-stop resource for all photographers who are always on the go.
Yann Salmon Legagneur, Director of Product Marketing, Digital Imaging at Sony Europe, explains that this news is not only important for Sony for the entire market segment. “The launch of the target FE 20-70 mm F4 G marks a turning point in the standard zoom segment. This newly developed lens has a very wide super wide-angle focal range, ranging from 20 to 70 mm, to ensure maximum versatility. The sophisticated images and extreme functionality meet the needs of photo and video creators alike”.
The XD linear motors allow you to obtain quality images at any focal length, while keeping the optics compact. At 20mm, you can have a wide and wide viewing angle shoot video in both 16:9 and 2.35:1.
Image quality G Lens and the 9-blade circular diaphragm allow you to take artistic images at any focal length, with the possibility of framing small flowers or subjects at a minimum distance of 0.3 meters with the wide angle and 0.25 with the telephoto.
In Alpha series cameras, image stabilization eliminates blur. The precise focus allows you to record video in really smooth 4K and 8K.
