Respawn and EA have unveiled Genesis, Apex Legends’ new limited-time collection event, which will bring back the Legends in two of the original maps
Respawn and Electronic Arts announced the new event limited time collection of Apex Legends, titled Genesis. For the occasion, players will be able to bring back the Legends in two of the historical maps of the title. At the same time as this event, then, some Legends and some weapons will undergo a rebalancing. Apex Legends is a free to play battle royale title, available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Apex Legends: dates and details of the Genesis event
The Apex Legends Genesis event will take place from 29 June to 13 July. For its duration, it will be possible to return to play in the maps Canyon dei Re (season 0), which will also include the arena Skull Town, and there Borders of the World (Season 3). The Genesis collection event will also feature a path to rewards, which will allow players to obtain cosmetic items, including the legendary wind-up rifle and EVA-8 weapon skins. They will also be able to earn up to 1,600 points per day with ever new challenges. Some of these challenges will extend over a longer period and, if resolved, award winners with four unique badges.
Genesis will also introduce a new set of 24 cosmetic items, available through direct purchase (with Apex Coins or Crafting Metals) and in Apex Genesis Packs. Whoever is able to collect all 24 items will have access to the Revenant family heirloom set. Finally, the Legends which will be subject to a rebalancing they are Octane, Revenant, Lifeline, Bloodhound and Wattson; as regards instead the weapons, those involved in the update are the Spitfire, the Repeater 30-30 and the Longbow.
