A free demo of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, with the first chapters of the game, is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch. Players who since March 17, 2023 purchasers of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will be able to transfer their save data from the demo to the full version of the game.

The Haunted Journey of Cherry and her demon companion Cheshire takes place in the Forest of Avalon, a place as beautiful as it is terrible, with an appetite for wandering witches. New Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon – An Adventure Story (Nintendo Switch) offers a glimpse into the twisted and whimsical woods that await Cherry and Cheshire.
Long before she became known as “Bayonetta,” the young witch’s apprentice put caution aside and ventured into a treacherous forest. Every good story has a lesson to teach us about teamwork: in this tale, Cereza and Cheshire join forces to survive the dangerssolve challenging puzzles and fend off enemies.
The left Joy-Con controller is used to move Cereza and lure enemies with her magic, while the right Joy-Con controller moves Cheshire to hit and bite the fairies. Thanks to the charming storybook-inspired graphics, each area looks like it was hand painted with care. Exploring the forest, players can find magical items that can be of help. It is also possible to modify many game settings, such as enemy strength, damage taken, button configuration and more, to adapt this fairy tale to the style of play.
