Book Pride returns in March with the first Milanese stop in 2023. The event is now in its seventh edition and is totally dedicated to independent Italian publishing
Book Pridethe national independent publishing fair, is back again this year with a double stage: Milan in March and Genoa in October; from 10 to 12 March 2023in fact, the festival awaits you at Superstudio MAXI from Milan. The program for the Milan stage is still being updated, but from the current list of events, which can be consulted on the official website, the variety of types of meetings is already evident, ranging from book presentations to workshops, up to storytelling events. Among the issues that stands out is the protection of the environment. There are also activities for schools.
Book Pride, to give independent publishing a face
Born in 2005 on the initiative of theObservatory of Independent Publishersi (ODEI), Book Pride reaches its seventh edition and aims to represent independent Italian publishing through an event (in two stages) totally dedicated to it. Independent publishing in our country is in fact a unique reality of its kind, lively, vast and varied, which alone represents the 40 percent of the entire publishing sector, and capable of a production of the highest quality; despite these excellent numbers, however, this often finds it difficult to make its way through the shelves of large bookshops.
