We are close to the release of the long-awaited Chivalry 2, under the wing of the publisher Tripwire Interactive, and in the meantime the start and end dates of the open beta in which all players can participate have been revealed
The continuation of that unexpected success that responds to the name Chivalry: Medieval Warfare it really exists, and will hit store shelves much sooner than you might imagine: as previously revealed, Chivalry 2 will be released next June 8 with cross-play support for PC (via Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S, under the publisher Tripwire Interactive (Killing Floor, Red Orchestra, Maneater). In the meantime, players around the world will be able to experience a taste of Chivalry 2, whose open beta will be available very soon. So let’s see below the dates and details.

The announcement of the open beta was made via a rather interesting video trailer. In fact, it presents various game images, while we hear the developers comment on each of their choices and each new addition that Chivalry 2 presents compared to the previous chapter. We can find a narrative context that gives a background to all the events and battles of the game, a detailed personalization of the characters (so as to make each character unique), many new scenarios for epic battles and so on. Of note is the peculiarity of the Coxwell scenario, which stages a battle in which the players on the defense team will take on the role of farmers who are attacked the village by one of the two factions of the game.
At the end of the video, we can finally see the dates: in addition to the confirmation of the release date, we can also see the duration of the open beta of Chivalry 2. It it will start on May 27th and end on June 1st, and will be in cross-play as per the final releases. For those unfamiliar with the series, Chivalry is a action in first person that puts on stage epic battles in medieval settings in which two factions are pitted against each other, all in online multiplayer. In October 2014, then two years after the first PC release, the first chapter had sold 2 million copies.
