Crysis Remastered Trilogy: A trailer shows the differences between PS3 and PS5

Crytek has made available for viewing a trailer dedicated to Crysis Remastered Trilogy, through which it is possible to see the differences between the PS3 and PS5 versions of the games in question

Ever since it made its PC debut, Crysis it has always been considered as one of the main benchmarks in terms of brute software visual rendering, thanks to the still impressive graphics sector that characterizes the production. Precisely for this reason the announcement of the Cryisis Remastered Trilogy had whetted the imagination of the players, curious to see how the three titles that make up the saga could have behaved on new generation hardware. And just to show the differences between the past and the future of these productions, Crytek has recently made available a trailer dedicated to the collection, through which the differences between the PS3 and PS5 releases of the games in the remaster.

What leaps most to the eye as soon as you view the video in question, which as always we propose in the news, is the obvious resolution difference between the various versions, as well as the detectable detachment in the frame rate and in the use of anti aliasing. However, there are also significant improvements regarding the performance of some environmental textures, of the draw distance and of general effects.

Crysis Remastered Trilogy will include Crysis Remastered, Crysis 2 Remastered e Crysis 3 Remastered. The first game in the collection is already available, and following the release of the complete improved edition, the other two chapters can also be purchased individually. The trilogy is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch, with optimizations dedicated to current gen consoles. At the moment we know that Crysis 2 aims to hit 60 frames per second on the PS5 version, all at a resolution of 1440p.
