Dragon Quest X Offline: first gameplay of the game shown

On the last day of the Playstation Japan event, the gameplay style of the expected Dragon Quest X was also shown; rise of the Five Tribes Offline

Over the course of this weekend, Playstation Japan held an exclusive event in Japan called Play! Play! Play!, Where some innovations within the Japanese videogame world were presented: among the titles present, there were also Horizon Forbidden West , Elden Ring and Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline. Of these titles, the first two have not actually received relevant updates, focusing more on an examination than what has been revealed so far by the developers. Instead, as for Dragon Quest X Offline, fans got to see a brand new gameplay footage of the game.

Here is the Dragon Quest X Offline gameplay

Dragon Quest X originally came out in 2012 for Wii, later coming to Switch as well. This is Square Enix’s first MMORPG, and it didn’t see a launch outside of its Asian homeland. This will perhaps also apply to the offline re-release of the title, considered as the game did not appear in the line-up during the streaming presentation in English that came out during the Tokyo Games Show 2021. In the same event, we had already seen something about Dragon Quest X Offline, but in this new video we had the opportunity to see more in depth the game and its gameplay, commented by game producer Takuma Shiraishi.

You can have them as companions in your party of Special NPCs, visible within the new game registration. Furthermore, thanks to a DLC it will be possible to go beyond the original story, thus continuing towards that of the first expansion “The Sleeping Hero and the Guided Allies”, starting next spring. Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline will be released on February 26, 2022, on PS4, PS5, PC and Switch; the game will include revamped graphics, and balanced combat to make the single player experience ideal.
