Epson Italy is technical sponsor of the Gabriele Basilico 2021 International Architecture and Landscape Photography Award. The Italian division of the Japanese company makes its printing technology available for the winner’s shots Michele Borzoni. The exhibition will take place until 17 September Mapping the rust at the Order and Foundation Order of Architects of Milan. This exhibition, created with the support of Epson Italia, aims to describe the workspaces in a deindustrialized area in France.

Also for the third edition of the international award, Epson Italia confirms its commitment to photography and its promotion. The company’s printing technology, an internationally recognized standard and used by great international and Italian photographers, will support the project and the exhibition Mapping the rust.
This exhibition is scheduled until September 17 at Order and Foundation Order of Architects Milan, in via Solferino 17. The shots describe the workspaces proposing a visual research on social changes starting from a deindustrialized area in Nord pas de Calais in France.
The motivation for the award
The photograph of the winner Michele Borzoni was awarded by the jury of the international prize. The project was awarded, according to the jury, for “the clear and rigorous method that integrates the figures of the workers with the environment and for the important choice of creating a close link between landscape, economy and politics”.
