The announcement came via a post on the Italian Instagram account of the video game development and distribution house. The offer will be valid for all platforms with which the title is compatible, i.e. PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Google Stadia. owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will still be able to play it thanks to the backward compatibility option that characterizes these consoles.

Far Cry 5 will be free starting tomorrow, Thursday August 5, and will remain so until Tuesday August 10; will therefore remain free for 5 days. The offer includes thefull access both single player campaign content and multiplayer modes. The start time of the promotion varies by platform. As for the PC, the game will be free starting at 15:00 on the Ubisoft Store and from 19:00 on the Epic Games Store. For the PlayStation and the Xbox the start time has been set for 09:01, while it will be necessary to wait for 19:00 for its activation on the Stadia.
