FUJIFILM sponsor del World Report Award

FUJIFILM supports the eleventh edition of the WORLD REPORT AWARD, the international photography competition promoted by the Festival of Ethical Photography

The Festival of Ethical Photography and FUJIFILM Italia present the new edition of the World Report Award, a competition that, also appreciated at an international level, has been drawing for eleven years “a great fresco on the stories of the Planet, on the great changes and on human, intimate and personal events.”

The World Report Award brings together photographers, Italians and foreigners, professionals and non-professionals of photojournalism, to narrate the man, with his public and private events, his small and large stories and consequently the social phenomena, customs, civilization, great tragedies and small daily joys, changes and immutability.

FUJIFILM Italy, acting as Award Sponsor, also promotes and supports this eleventh edition; is a commitment to validate the centrality of photography today, for its ability to tell the community and the reality that surrounds us, thanks to its direct language which also becomes a spur to be critical of the facts of life.

FUJIFILM again sponsor of the World Report Award

Therefore, Fujifilm invites you to participate in the WRA to be recognized as authors of the affairs of the World by an international jury of experts. The jury’s evaluation is based on the value attributed to the photographer’s ability to build a narrative and emotional path, developed through the sequence of images. The scope of the projects must be that of social and / or documentary photo-reportage. Stories can be long-term projects, but also short reports told in a few but impactful shots. Each reportage presented may be composed of color or black and white photographs and necessarily a story coherent with a unifying theme must be produced.

In addition, the winners will win both cash prizes and photographic equipment: FUJIFILM makes its high-end mirrorless cameras available to the winners.

This year, in particular, the WRA aims to give value to the photographic community and create a professional network of excellence. For this reason, the new program “The Spotlight photographers meet the Masters” has been introduced: the first 3 winners of the Master Award category will meet with the finalists of the Spotlight section in in-depth analyzes lasting 3 hours. The first 15 classified in the Spotlight section will be involved in the program.
