Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, unveiled the dimensions on Nintendo Switch

It will take a lot of space to host such a large world – the dimensions of the Grand Theft Auto trilogy on Nintendo Switch are enormous

Rockstar has finally lifted the last veils on Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, and in addition to the release date and gameplay we also have the size its Nintendo Switch. After releasing only one title on the hybrid console, LA Noire, the development team has opened the doors to its three main metropolises also for the players of the Big N (if we don’t count the short flirtation with Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo DS). In addition, given the improvements in graphics and controls, it is clear that we will be able to enjoy the definitive version of Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City.

Grand Theft Auto: the “dimensions of my chaos” on Nintendo Switch

According to the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy page on Nintendo eShop, we will need to free up quite a bit of space on our Switches to accommodate the package size. In fact, we speak of no less than 25,4 gigabyte, making this title one of the least “compressed” available on the market. Of course, for what the digital world has accustomed us to these are not prohibitive numbers, but one wonders what Rockstar’s approach will be for the physical format. Publishers rarely resort to the 32GB game cards offered by the Big N, opting instead for mandatory downloads.

If Rockstar opts for this solution, we may find a download code (or more than one) in the game box. The arrival on the hybrid console of the Kyoto giant (as well as on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PS4, Xbox One and PC) is scheduled forNovember 11th in digital format, followed by a physical version on December 6. The remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, while the re-release of GTA III will arrive on PlayStation Now in December. In short, we have enough time to make a selection on our Nintendo Switches.
