Deadline has revealed some details, talking about a big-budget action film, which is preparing to be shot in Spain next summer. The film, which does not yet have a title, will be presented to lenders and distributors at the Cannes Film Festival, more precisely at film marketthe world’s first film market, usually attended by around 10,000 participants, who revolve around the world of cinema.

Guy Ritchie’s project does not yet have a title, but it is known that it will be an action, with traits typical of the director’s humor, starring two extraction specialists, who will have the difficult task of planning an escape route for an experienced negotiator and committed to a high-level mission. If the plot is still quite nebulous, the actors involved in the project are known instead. It’s a really interesting cast, which includes Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal ed Eiza Gonzalez. Cavill is known for his role in several films and TV series, including Man of Steel (2013) and The Witcher (2019-ongoing), while Gyllenhaal is the award-winning protagonist of Donnie Darko (2001), Prisoners ( 2013), Love & Other Remedies (2010), Brokeback Mountain (2005) and most recently Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) and The Covenant (2023). Eiza González is instead the Mexican singer and actress who became famous above all for her participation in Fast & Furious – Hobbs & Shaw (2019).

Henry Cavill and Eiza González collaborated with the director on the film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (to be released in 2024), while Jake Gyllenhaal was directed by Ritchie in the aforementioned film The Covenant (2023).
