This will be the product of his immense admiration and imagination for the dictatorial regime in which he was born and raised, being part of the phenomenon of Hitler youth. Despite his deep hatred of Jews, even though he has never met one, Jojo will have to deal with an inner struggle that only his imaginary friend will be able to understand and will know how to solve.

“Jojo Rabbit” is directed by Taika Waititi, who also plays the role of the same fictional friend in the film. The action is certainly his strong point, if we also consider the direction of “Thor: Ragnarok”, for example. The success was glaring: the film won a Oscar award it’s a BAFTA Award, both for Best Non-Original Screenplay.

He received, in total, six nominations for the 2020 Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress for Scarlett Johansson, Best Non-original Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. People’s Choice Award at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival and opening film at the Turin Film Festival.

A completely intriguing cast in this film: let’s see Roman Griffin Davis in the title role, Jojo. Scarlett Johansson will be Rosie, his mother, Sam Rockwell in the role of captain Klenzendorf and again, Thomas McKenzie, Taika Waititi, Rebel Wilson, Stephen Merchant, Alfie Allen.
