The beloved anime series made by the Toei Animation studio will return in 2023 with a live action adaptation titled Knights of the Zodiac. The story is known: the young Seiya embarks on a journey through myths and legends to become the Knight of Pegasus. After the highly successful anime series, aired since 1986, the legendary anime, in turn inspired by the manga by Masami Kurumadarevives with a highly anticipated live action that is now shown with a decidedly electrifying trailer.

The live action adaptation of the Knights of the Zodiac traces the events of Seiya, an orphan chasing his sister who comes across a reincarnated goddess. Thus begins his journey to become a Knight of the Zodiac, which will lead him to forget his entire previous life. As Seiya we find MackenyuAmerican actor of Japanese origins, who starred in the live action of another very successful manga: Rurouni Kenshin.
