A new trailer and a new poster have been released for Masquerade – Thieves of love, in theaters from December 21st
Presented at the latest edition of the Cannes Film Festival as out of competition, Masquerade – Thieves of love by Nicolas Bedos is ready to make its debut in Italian cinemas starting from December 21st. The film has already been released domestically, in France, where in the first ten days of programming it recorded 500,000 spectators. Now, the release in Italian cinemas is also approaching and for the occasion Lucky Red, the film’s distributor, has released a brand new trailer and a new movie poster.
Masquerade – Thieves of love: plot and cast
Masquerade – Thieves of love looks like an enchanting choral fresco that revolves around the stories of Adrien e Margot, two young people who meet and together study a plan to change their lives. He is a former dancer who lives in a luxurious villa on the French Riviera maintained by an old movie star and together with Margot he will try to set up a scam against a wealthy businessman to finally live a better life. The plot hatched by Adrien and Margot will eventually intertwine with the events of the other characters, creating a dense and intricate plot.
The backdrop to the story is the beautiful Côte d’Azur, immortalized in the joy and festivities of Nice, in which director Bedos has created a setting “à la Great Gatsby”. The characters of Adrien and Margot are played by Pierre Niney e Navy Fur and alongside them in the film are Isabelle Adjani, François Cluzet, Emmanuelle Devos and Laura Morante. A highly anticipated film, destined to be one of the great protagonists of next Christmas in theaters.
