After all, it is not available for other platforms: being graphically integrated in Windows 10 is the minimum.
ShadowMaker backs up complete partitions and can even clone entire drives. The program can perform periodic backups, updating the data in the backup copy each time. This feature can be programmed and scheduled to run when the PC is not in use. The data in the backup can obviously be compressed, protected and selectively run on certain folders only. We clearly recommend that you always use the backup of the whole drive: you never know, maybe what you really need is in a different folder than the one it should be in! There is also a backup “mount” feature so you can restore only the files we need without having to restore everything.
We can choose how to perform the backup having available 3 different options: Full, Incremental, Differential. By performing the full backup, the software will go every time to perform the operation from scratch. Using the incremental backup function the software will update the previous backup with the new files inserted. And finally, the differential backup function, in our opinion the best, allows you to update the backup image with every change in the files. In practice, the first time you will perform a full backup and then keep it updated with the incremental or differential backup functionality with a great saving in terms of resources used.
The programming functionality they are also very complete. We can schedule our backup on a daily, weekly, monthly or even event basis. In this way, the management is complete, allowing the user to choose when and how to make backups so as to never find the PC slowed down due to the execution of this operation.

The benefits offered by this program are truly excellent. We tested its speed with an M.2 SSD by copying around 500 GB from it to a classic hard drive. To carry out this operation, the program took about 40 minutes. If we had copied from SSD to SSD this time probably would have been more than halved. The speed depends a lot on the media used, of course, but the program does not create bottlenecks allowing the system units to work at their maximum capacity. The mounting and unmounting of proprietary partitions to copy only portions of data proved very fast: no waiting times.
