The creators of NEO: The World Ends with You reveal the total duration of the game, both in terms of only the story and to finish it 100%
There is now a month left until the arrival of NEO: The World Ends with You, sequel to the title created by Square Enix originally released in 2007 on the Nintendo DS. As the launch date approaches, scheduled for July 27 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, a lot of new information arrives, in addition to the playable demo available just a few days ago. Among the information revealed by Square Enix recently there is also the possible total duration of the same NEO: The World Ends with You, which, as expected, will be several tens of hours.
Neo: The World Ends with You, what will the duration be?
The game director of NEO: The World Ends with You, Hiroyuki Ito, revealed to 4Gamer’s microphones that there will be a lot more things to do in the title than its predecessor. According to the director, only to complete the main story will be needed approximately 50 hours. Also Tatsuya Kando, general manager of The World Ends with You series, instead reported that the game has many collectibles, several optional battles and many other secondary content inside. According to his estimate, if a player wants to play in order to complete the entire game 100%, they may also need a hundred hours and beyond.
There are so many things to do between finding the rarest pins, stickers to decorate the city and optional bosses to defeat. The original The World Ends with You had an average length of about 20-30 hours, so this second chapter is to be expected lots of extra extra content, not counting the length of the longest main story.
